Handmade Ceramic Dot Mugs

Each mug is individually wheel thrown using Plainsman M340S clay and hand textured with a combination of raised dots of slip and a geometric grid pattern. The texture creates depth and movement across the surface, giving the glaze something unique to interact with.

The mugs are glazed with Amaco Ancient Jasper and Spectrum Running Hot Chowder, creating a beautiful combination of rich red, warm sand, and deep black. As the glazes flow over the textured surface, they break and pool in different areas, highlighting the grid and dot pattern and making every mug slightly different.
