This large handmade ceramic bowl features intricate hand-carved detailing and a bold, earthy glaze combination.

This one-of-a-kind bowl is wheel thrown using Plainsman PSH 540I Black Stoneware clay and then carefully hand carved, creating texture and visual movement across the surface. The exterior is finished with Mayco Stoneware Rusted Iron, while the interior features Amaco Iron Lustre, creating a striking contrast between the rich, earthy exterior and the lustrous interior.

With its substantial size and sculptural character, this bowl is designed primarily as a decorative piece and looks beautiful displayed on a table, shelf, or console.
